We’re pleased to share the news that PhD student Siavash Sabetrohani has received a 10-month Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst Research Fellowship for the upcoming year. The DAAD research grants are awarded to highly qualified candidates who have completed a Master's degree or Diploma, or in exceptional cases a Bachelor's degree at the latest by the time they begin their grant-supported research. These long-term research grants can offer the chance to pursue a 7 to 10 month research project in Germany.
Sabetrohani will spend the 2019-20 academic year in Berlin, working mostly at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (StaBi), looking at 18th-century documents from and about music theorists active in Berlin at the time.
